We were looking for a self-service payments solution that would have no burden on our in-house resourcing but would offer our customers another way to pay their water bills, at a time and location that works for them.
What was the solution?
Anglian Water chose to adopt PayPoint’s cash in-store service available in 28,000 outlets across the UK, and over 2,000 within the Anglian Water region.
The payment channel, which was introduced within weeks, has given customers choice and flexibility in how and when they pay their water bills.
The results
Anglian Water has successfully increased their payment channel offering and, as a result, enhanced customer experience.
With a network bigger than all banks, supermarkets and Post Offices together, customers are never far away from a PayPoint outlet. The majority of stores are open on average 106 hours a week, early until late, 7 days a week, making it easy for customers to pay their bills.
